St Mirren | Preview

We are back in action at the Kilmac Stadium on Saturday when we take on St. Mirren in the cinch Premiership, kick off 3pm.

The teams have met twice this season already with a 2-2 draw on opening day at the Kilmac Stadium and a 1-0 victory for James McPake’s side in October.

Max Anderson was on target for The Dee and his goal was enough to bring all three points back up the road to Dundee.

Team News

Cillian Sheridan and Lee Ashcroft remain longer tern injuries while Jordan McGhee and Jordan Marshall are both doubtful. Danny Mullen will return to the squad after missing Wednesday’s match against St. Johnstone with illness.

We are, however, unbeaten against St Mirren this season with a 2-2 draw at home at the start of the season and this was followed up with a 1-0 win in Paisley thanks to a Max Anderson goal.

Our memory match goes back to December of 1986 when St Mirren visited Dens and were on the receiving end of a 6-3 defeat. At one point, the Buddies were 5-0 down before a crazy seventeen minute period brought them three goals but Dundee would kill the game not long afterwards with a deadly sixth,
