St Mirren Match Preview | April 2025

Dundee vs St Mirren

5/4/25

3pm kick-off

William Hill Premiership

The Scot Foam Stadium

We welcome St Mirren to the Scot Foam Stadium this weekend for the second time this season, as the clubs meet for the third time in this season’s campaign. The first meeting was in August when the team played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Dens. In this game, Dundee came from behind twice to secure a point. St Mirren opened the scoring through Olusanya before Curtis Main levelled for the Dee. Mandron restored St Mirren’s lead ten minutes before half time but a Ziyad Larkeche goal ten minutes into the second half meant the teams shared the points. The second meeting was the last game of 2024 for both sides as they met in Paisley. Dundee came into that match after a disappointing defeat to Ross County, whereas St Mirren came into this match on a real high after beating Rangers on Boxing Day. However, it was Dundee that left with all three points, thanks to a Simon Murray double, which saw Dundee claim an important 1-2 victory. Both sides come into this match looking to climb the league table, Dundee are looking to move off 11th position whereas St Mirren will be looking for a win which could lift them into the top 6 and they will be in good spirits after an impressive 5-1 win at home to Kilmarnock last Saturday.
