Sean Kelly joins the Dee

Dundee Football Club are extremely pleased to announce the signing of Sean Kelly on a short-term deal till January 2025, subject to international clearance.

The 31 year-old is an experienced defender who has made over 300 professional appearances.

Kelly started his career at St Mirren, where he came through their academy before breaking into the first-team. He then moved to English League one side, AFC Wimbledon where he spent a season before moving back to Scotland with Ross County. Kelly would spend three seasons with the Staggies before joining Falkirk for a season. Kelly went on to joined Livingston where he would go on to be club captain, after three season at Livi he moved to Cypriot side Karmiotissa FC.

Kelly returned to Scotland from Cyprus as a free agent and has recently been training with The Dee and played 90 minutes for Dundee Reserves in their 3-2 victory against Falkirk reserves.
