Scott Tiffoney agrees to join Dundee

Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce that Scott Tiffoney has agreed to join the club when his contract with Partick Thistle ends at the weekend.

The winger is a player that the club came up against last season when he was at Partick Thistle and is a really exciting talent. The club have beaten off competition from a number of other clubs to secure Scott’s signature and we are delighted he will be wearing the dark blue next season.

Scott’s professional career started with Greenock Morton before he moved to Livingston and then to Partick Thistle. He has also had loan spells with Clyde, Morton, Ayr and Partick.

On the announcement of Scott agreeing to sign manager Tony Docherty said, “I am thrilled that Scott will be joining the club. He is a player that I have monitored and admired for a long time and is a player that will get the fans off their seats. When he has the ball, he can make things happen, he can create chances for others, and he can create opportunities for himself. He has a tremendous work ethic and wants to improve as a player. He is committed to the club and will be moving up here and I’m really excited about having him at the club.”

Welcome to the Dee Scott!
