Reserves come from behind for win

Dundee Reserves came from behind to make it back to back 3-2 wins with victory against Hearts at the Oriam.

The Edinburgh side took the lead in the first half through a free kick by Bozanic from the edge of the box.

Dundee came flying out of the traps in the second half and immediately won a penalty when Cammy Kerr was fouled.

Cedwyn Scott stepped up and drew Dundee level.

Hearts were reduced to ten men when central defender Petkov pulled back Matty Henvey as he was played in behind the defence.

Jimmy Boyle’s side made the man advantage count as substitute Grant Rodger crossed for Scott to head home his second.

The match looked to be playing out to a finish at 2-1 but Dundee added a third in the closing minutes when Henvey closed down a backpass and the keepers clearance hit him and ended up in the net.

There was still time for Hearts to pull one back through Moore but Dundee held out for the winner.

Starting line up – Parish, Kerr, Moore, Bradbury, O’Dea, Jefferies, Lambert, Trialist, Henvey, Spence, Scott.

Subs – Sharp, Rodger, Anderson, Johnston
