Dundee went down to a 3-1 defeat against Rangers at Ibrox this afternoon. Amadou Bakayoko gave the travelling support hope with an early goal, but Rangers fought back strongly to score three goals before half time. Cyriel Dessers equalised and a few minutes later Tavernier put Rangers ahead from the penalty spot following a VAR review. Abdallah Sima made it three, before Jose Cifuentes was red carded after another VAR review on the stroke of half time. With an extra man Dundee improved in the second half, enjoying the majority of possession, but Rangers held onto their lead.
