Rangers – Match Preview
Today, Wednesday 17th April, Rangers come to The Scot Foam Stadium in the cinch Premiership. It is an 8pm kick-off tomorrow night. Both teams go into this match having picked up four points from their last three matches. Dundee beat St Johnstone 1-2 away from home, lost 2-3 to Motherwell at home and then drew 0-0 away to Aberdeen. The point away to Aberdeen on Saturday confirmed Dundee’s place in the top six in their first season back in Scotland’s top division. Rangers have also picked up four points from the past three matches, they beat Hibs 3-1 at home, before drawing 3-3 against rivals Celtic at Ibrox, and then on Sunday they lost 3-2 away to Ross County. Rangers know a win tonight will close the gap on leaders Celtic to just one point.

Tony Docherty
“It’s a game we are hugely looking forward to. I’ve got huge respect for Rangers. They’re a fantastic team. I think their manager has done a fantastic job since he has come in. We’ve been working on a lot of different things in training, so we will be looking to execute that game plan on Wednesday night.”
Ricki Lamie
“It’s a game we look forward to, but know that it is going to be a tough one. We’ve faced them a couple of times this season already, and they’re a good team. We are at home, with a pretty good record there. We will be going into the match to end on a high before the split.”
