Raith Rovers | Preview

James McPake spoke to the press ahead of this weekend’s match with Raith Rovers at the Kilmac Stadium.

The manager told the media that we have had the Stark’s Park side watched on a number of occasion with assistant manager Dave Mackay and coach Scott Robertson both attending their recent matches, “They have started great. They are a good side, a dangerous side. Dave saw them at Tynecastle and Robbo saw them down at Dumfries last week so we know what they are about,” James said.

He continued, “It’s about consistency for us. It’s the consistency of those performances and keeping it at a level where we are performing to a level that is worthy of this football club. If we do that we have the players who can hurt teams.”

“We defended well on Saturday, so we continue on from that and we get better further up the pitch, which we will do. The players are getting up to speed every week so it’s important the level of consistency – we start showing that.”
