Osman joins

Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Osman Sow on a one year deal.

Osman has been on trial with the club for the past three weeks and has earned a deal after impressing in training and pre-season matches.

Striker Osman, started his career in his homeland of Sweden. He moved to England in 2013 when he joined Crystal Palace.

A year later, he moved to Scotland where he joined Heart of Midlothian. His performances and goal record in the capital earned him a move to Chinese side Henan Jianye.

He returned to the UK in 2017 and had spells at MK Dons, Dundee United and Kilmarnock.

Osman put pen to paper on his deal this morning and will wear number 21 for the club.

Manager James McPake said of the signing, β€œI’m delighted to have Osman join the squad.”

β€œWe have been really impressed with him over his trial period both in training and in games. He offers a different dimension to the other strikers we have in the squad and he will complement them well.”

β€œHe’s been with the group for three weeks now and we have had the chance to have a really good look at him in terms of quality, fitness and his character.”
