Dundee vs Motherwell
3/5/25
3pm kick-off
William Hill Premiership
The Scot Foam Stadium
We welcome Motherwell to the Scot Foam Stadium this weekend as the sides meet for the fourth time this season. The previous three meetings have seen two Dundee wins and one Motherwell win. Dundee played Motherwell at Fir Park on the 19th of October and it was the Dee who left with the three points. Lyall Cameron’s first-half strike secured a 1-0 win for The Dee and earned Dundee their first away win of the season. The second match was at Dens at the beginning of December where Dundee won 4-1. Seun Adewumi opened the scoring before Stamatelopoulos equalised for Motherwell. It was three second half goals for Dundee that secured the three points. Scott Tiffoney gave the Dee the lead before a double from Lyall Cameron finished the game. The sides then met at the end of February at Fir Park where it was the home side that claimed the three points. For this encounter Motherwell were under the leadership of new manager Michael Wimmer in what was his first home match in charge. Casey opened the scoring for the Well in the first half. Simon Murray then equalised in the second half but minutes later Casey scored his second of the game and the winner. Both sides will be looking for three points on Saturday to move further away from the bottom two league positions.
