Team News

Michael Mellon and Antonio Portales returned to training this week after spells out. Owen Beck and Scott Tiffoney also trained this week after picking up knocks in the win against Ross County last Saturday. Ryan Howley and Diego Pineda remain out with injury.

Tony Docherty

“It will be a very difficult game. We have already had two previous encounters with Hibernian, which I thought we did well in. We know the task ahead of us. Hibernian are a very good side, they are a possession based team with a real expansive style of play. Easter Road is a great venue to play at, but they are a tough opponent and there is a lot we’ll need to do right in terms of in and out of possession to give ourselves the best chance of picking up points.”

Joe Shaughnessy

“It’s always tough going away to Hibernian, so we know it’s going to be a tough game. Anytime I’ve played them, attacking wise, they are very very strong. They can hit you very fast and that seems to be where they are dangerous. We will have to try and contain their front three and then impose our own game plan after that. It will be a good chance to show what we are about and show that we can match them and hopefully go and get a positive result!”
