Dundee vs St Mirren

31/8/24

3pm kick-off

William Hill Premiership

The Scot Foam Stadium

We welcome St Mirren to the Scot Foam Stadium on Saturday for our second home William Hill Premiership match of the season.

Saturday’s meeting is between the two sides that finished 5th and 6th in the Premiership last term. St Mirren ended up in 5th and Dundee in 6th. Out of the four meetings, the Buddies came out on top in three of the four. St Mirren won the two matches in Paisley firstly 2-1 in August before winning 2-0 in February. Dundee won the first match at The Scot Foam Stadium triumphing 4-0 with goals from Rudden, Robinson and two from Bakayoko. But it was the Saints that won the last meeting at The Scot Foam Stadium in May, with the match ending 3-1.

St Mirren have had to start this season balancing league duties with European travels. They won their Europa Conference second Qualifying match against Valur from Iceland 4-1 on aggregate before narrowly losing 4-2 to Brann of Norway in the third qualifying round.

They will again be hoping for a successful league campaign that will take them back into Europe for next season.
