Lyall signs pro contract

Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce that Lyall Cameron signed his first professional contract with the club today on his 16th birthday.

Lyall has been an important part of the Under 18s team this season scoring four goals in five games.

Highly rated, Lyall played for the Under 20s team a number of times at the age of 14 and scored for them earlier this year in a win over Falkirk.

Lyall’s today signed a deal which commits his future to Dundee until 2021.

Head of Professional Programme James McPake said “We are delighted that Lyall had signed his first pro contract.”

“He’s a player who has already shown a fantastic attitude to compliment his ability.”

“Turning 16 today he already has experience of playing for the Under 20s and training with the first team and I’m looking forward to seeing just how far he can progress in the next few years.”
