Dundee v Livingston

Sunday 5th November – 2pm Kick-Off

The Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park

cinch Premiership

It has only been eight days since the two teams met in the league, the only difference is that this weekend the fixture takes place in Dundee. Last Saturday the teams met at the Tony Macaroni Arena where Dundee triumphed 0-2 and registered their first away league win of the season.

Livingston will come into the match wanting to put last week’s defeat to Dundee behind them and will be hoping this weekend it is themselves that are taking the points home with them. Livingston like Dundee suffered defeat midweek going down 1-0 away to Hearts. Livingston come into this match on ten points, one behind Dundee and currently occupy eleventh place.

Tony’s thoughts

“I watched Livingston’s game against Hearts and they certainly looked like they were all out. They were full of energy – a strong and typical Livingston performance, coming out fighting. I don’t look at form, I look at performance, and looking at that, I am sure their manager will be buoyed by the way they approached the Hearts game. I expect no less of the Livingston team coming here. They’ll be hardworking, difficult to play against, as they always are. We know as a team how tough that challenge will be, but hopefully we are ready for it.” – Tony Docherty

Amadou Bakayoko

“Regardless of what game it is, we will always have good chances, and we put a lot of teams under pressure. I am looking forward to the game on Sunday. As we showed last week,  we can go to their place and play on their surface, so we can definitely go do that here as well. Yeah, it definitely helps us massively seeing them so soon again. It also helps them in a way, to set up differently for our counter attacks. We just need to go and give a good account of ourselves in this game, and doing the double on them would be good for us to do.”
