Dingwall for Premiership opener

The Ladbrokes Premiership season gets underway tomorrow when we take the trip to Dingwall to face Ross County. Manager Paul Hartley will have almost a full squad to choose from for the trip to the Highlands. Mark O’Hara and Nick Ross have returned to the squad after missing out on the win over Forfar. One other piece of injury news is the return to training of Nicky Low, however the opener will come too soon for the midfielder.

Hartley secured the signature of Faissal El Bakhtaoui during the week and told the press “We are delighted to have a player of his quality, it’s up to Faiss to hit the ground running. There is a lot of competition to get into the team and hopefully he can perform as well as he did for Dunfermline last season.”

Of the league opener the manager said, “It’s a tough journey away to Ross County, difficult opponents, good players, good team, good management. It’s always difficult first game but we’ve got enough quality in the team to get a positive result.”

Subscribers can watch the manager’s full press conference plus Faissal El Bakhtaoui speaking to the press as a Dundee player for the first time on DeeTV now.
