The club can confirm that Josh Meekings has been named club captain by manager Neil McCann.
Josh signed for the club almost a year to the day and has been a leader on and off the park in his time at Dundee.
The central defender has worn the armband throughout the beginning of the Ladbrokes Premiership campaign after the manager made a number of different players captain throughout pre-season and the Betfred Cup group section.
Josh described it as a “great honour” to be named captain and you can see an interview with him below.
