This Tuesday we are back in Scottish Championship action when we travel north to take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle, kick off 7pm.
Alex Jakubiak has returned to action just in time for the Championship run in and he spoke to the broadcast media ahead of the fixture.
The attacker has been out since suffering a quad injury in December and has returned to the training and the matchday squad in recent weeks, he said, “I’m good, I feel strong, I feel sharp, I’ve been working really hard in the gym and since I’ve been back out on the park.”
“All throughout this injury I’ve been looking forward that first training session, that first moment I could get back on the pitch, to try help the team. I’ve been itching for it for ages so I think now we are getting nearer to the time I’ve been training hard, I’ve been on the bench so hopefully in the last few games I can get some minutes and help the team push.”
“This season has not been ideal for us but we are still in a strong position to get the play offs and get promotion. That’s the main goal for us so I want to help the team as much as I can.”
“Our priority is to win the game. We have that mentality going into every game. For us we want to just win the game.”
