Dees on International Duty – March 2024

For the first international break of 2024, Dundee FC have three players away on international duty. They are, Lyall Cameron, Michael Mellon and Aaron Donnelly.

Josh Mulligan had been called up to the Scotland Under 21’s squad but has had to pull out due to injury. 

The club are delighted to have players representing their country on international duty and we wish them all the very best.

Lyall Cameron and Michael Mellon – Scotland Under 21’s

Cameron and Mellon are in Scott Gemmill’s squad as the Under 21’s take on Kazakhstan at the SMiSA Stadium, on Thursday, 21 March, with a 7pm kick-off.

This is a qualifier for the Under 21’s UEFA Euro Finals in 2025 and Scotland are currently sitting in second place in group B, three points behind Spain after five matches. 

Aaron Donnelly – Northern Ireland 

Aaron had originally been called up for the Northern Ireland Under 21’s squad but at the start of the week was promoted to the senior squad. Northern Ireland will play two friendly matches firstly away to Romania on Friday 22nd March, before they travel to Hampden to play Scotland on Tuesday 26th March. Aaron will be looking to earn his first cap for the senior squad.
