Sam Fisher leaves the club

Dundee Football Club can confirm that Sam Fisher has left the club and has signed for Dunfermline Athletic.

An offer was made to Sam to continue his career at Dundee but he is understandably now looking to secure regular first team football.

Sam spent the first half of last season on loan at the Pars and has now chosen to join them permanently. The club will receive appropriate training compensation and there is also a sell-on clause should Sam be transferred onwards in the future.

Fisher was a regular with the Under 18s and Reserve teams during 2018/19 and was involved in the first team set up the following season. Whilst at the club Sam had loan spells with East Kilbride, Forfar Athletic and Dunfermline Athletic. His competitive debut for the club came against Raith Rovers in January 2021. In total Sam made 12 appearances for the club.

We would like to thank Sam for his service to the club and wish him well for the future.
