  • Aberdeen’s first visit to Dens was on November 18th 1905 and The Dee won 6-0 against the newly promoted side
  • Dundee’s last league win against Aberdeen at Dens was on December 18th 2004 when a Neil Barrett goal gave the Dark Blues a 1-0 win
  • Dundee defeated Aberdeen 3-2 at Dens in the first day of the new Premier Division in 1975. Bobby Ford had the honour of scoring the first ever Premier Division goal
  • Aberdeen’s first league win at Dens was on August 24th 1912 when they headed back to the Granite City with a 3-1 win. Dundee’s 1910

  • Pittodrie was the first all seated and all covered stadium in the United Kingdom
  • Pittodrie was also the first football stadium to feature a dug-out, an invention of player and coach Donald Colma
  • Dundee’s last win over Aberdeen was a dramatic last minute 2-1 win in the Scottish Cup at Dens in November 2014
