Tuesday night saw Dundee take all three points when Queen of the South came to town and The Dee will be hoping for a repeat this weekend when they take on Falkirk.
With only six games remaining Dundee and Hamilton are battling it out at the top with a point separating the teams and a match up at New Douglas Park next weekend.
Falkirk have been right in the mix for the majority of the season but dropped points recently have seen them fall behind the leaders. The Bairns currently sit nine points of top spot – in 3rd place – and will be looking to fight their way back into contention for the automatic promotion place with victory at Dens.
They will be looking to continue their impressive form against Dundee this season. They have had the upper hand so far with two victories on their own patch and a draw at Dens. They will have to do it without striker Philip Roberts who is suspended.
The Bairns did get back to winning ways during the midweek with a victory over Dumbarton at The Falkirk Stadium but come up against a Dundee side in good form. 7 clean sheets out of 8 since Paul Hartley arrived at the club has been the foundation for the team to build on and six victories over that period have kept Dundee top of the SPFL Championship.
Dundee will again be without Kyle Benedictus. He missed Tuesday’s win over Queen of the South with injury and suspension means he will also miss out on the match with Falkirk.
