Finlay Robertson Extends Dundee FC Stay Until 2028
Dundee Football Club is delighted to announce that midfielder Finlay Robertson has signed a new contract extension, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2028.
A product of the Dundee FC Academy, Robertson has been part of the Dark Blues setup since the age of 6 and has continued to develop into an important member of the first-team squad. His new deal reflects both the club’s belief in his ability and its commitment to developing talented homegrown players.
Since making his senior debut, the 23-year-old has accumulated valuable experience in the Scottish Premiership, demonstrating his technical quality, work rate and versatility in midfield.
Head Coach Steven Pressley said:
“We are delighted to extend the contract of Fin Robertson. Last season, he showed excellent progress and delivered several outstanding performances. We are excited about what lies ahead, as we firmly believe his best is yet to come.
Fin is a player with an outstanding desire to improve and develop, but just as importantly, he is a terrific person. He sets a fantastic example for our academy players to aspire to, and we are proud to say: “He is one of our own.”
Speaking after signing his new contract, Robertson said:
“I am very happy to have extended my contract with my boyhood club. I think every player dreams about that.
Last season, playing in midfield more consistently, allowed me to perform at a better level and I’ve really enjoyed working with Steven and the coaching staff. They put so much work in behind the scenes to make us successful and I think the fans have seen the progress we’ve made as a team.
I can’t wait to continue to build on last season with the fans behind us.”
Everyone at Dundee Football Club would like to congratulate Finlay on his new contract and we look forward to seeing him continue his journey in Dark Blue until at least 2028.
