Dunfermline | Preview

We are back in action at the Kilmac Stadium this weekend as we face Dunfermline live on BBC Scotland. The match this Saturday evening kicks off at 7.20pm.

Manager James McPake spoke to the broadcast media ahead of a fixture he is looking forward to as Dundee try to build on last weekend’s win over Alloa, he said, “When you are getting to this stage of the season and you have two teams who are aiming for promotion at the end of the season then it throws up a good game.”

“Throw into the mix that it is two teams who have been inconsistent at times, but we don’t worry about Dunfermline in terms of their form, we just need to concentrate on Dundee and get it right performance wise.”

“I believe if we get the right performance then the result will follow.”

“We need to deliver but we have shown before we can do that, when Hearts came here, when other teams came here, we went to Alloa last week under a lot of pressure and delivered. I thought the lads were excellent. It’s going to take that again.”

“We are at home and we need to return to winning here consistently again. Performances were good here for about a year so we need to get that back and make this a tough place to come, starting Saturday.”

DeeTV subscribers can watch James and Shaun Byrne preview the match now.
