Dundee vs St Johnstone
26/10/24
3pm kick-off
William Hill Premiership
The Scot Foam Stadium
St Johnstone make the short trip from Perth to Dundee for this William Hill Premiership match. This is the first meeting of the sides this season and both teams will be wanting to continue their winning runs after both won last weekend. St Johnstone defeated Ross County 3-0 in Simo Valakari’s, first home match in charge of the Saints. Valakari although in charge has not yet been able to be in the dugout due to Valakari not receiving his work permit. Saints hope to obtain the required paperwork ahead of tomorrow’s match so that he can be in the dugout. Before Valakari was appointed Craig Levein was at the helm for the start of the season and guided the club through the Premier Sports Cup group stages. However, with only one win in five league matches the club parted company with Levein. Assistant Manager Andy Kirk took interim charge of the team for two matches, a draw with Ross County and then a defeat to Celtic. Valakari has been in the stand for the first two matches, the first was a 2-0 defeat away to Rangers before a 3-0 win at home to Ross County.
