Dundee meet Hearts this Friday evening under the lights at Tynecastle in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup. Friday night’s match is the first quarter-final tie of the weekend with a place at Hampden in the semi-finals up for grabs for the winner. This is Dundee’s first away tie of this year’s Scottish Cup, whereas for Hearts it is their first home tie of the competition. The hosts have reached this stage of the competition after wins against Brechin City and St Mirren. In the fourth round, they defeated Brechin City of the Highland League, 1-4 at Glebe Park. In the fifth round, it was a penalty shoot-out victory against St Mirren after the match ended 1-1 at The SMiSA stadium. Dundee have reached the quarter-final after wins against Dundee United and Airdrie. Simon Murray’s first-half goal was enough to beat Dundee United in the fourth round. Then in the fifth round, it was a 4-0 win against Airdrieonians thanks to goals for Clark Robertson, Seun Adewumi and a double from Lyall Cameron.

Billy Koumetio, Clark Robertson, Antonio Portales and Seb Palmer-Houlden remain out with injury. Scott Fraser has returned to training this week, but Friday may prove too soon for Fraser. Lyall Cameron will miss the match through suspension.

Dundee supporters will occupy the Roseburn Stand Sections, K, L and M.
Supporters with mobility issues can access the Roseburn stand via the available elevator.
