Dundee emerged with a 3-1 victory from tonight’s Viaplay Cup match against a competitive Dumbarton team. Zach Robinson opened the scoring late in the first half only for the Sons to grab an instant equaliser through Tony Wallace. Dundee responded just as quickly with a second goal, from Diego Pineda, before the break. The Dee went on to dominate the second half, but had to settle for only one more goal, a penalty converted by Robinson.
