Dundee’s Scottish Cup 5th round tie against Motherwell ended in disappointment as the Dark Blues went down to a 2-0 defeat at Dens Park. Dundee created and missed a string of chances, but gave away two poor goals. Craig Tanner scored a first half opener, and when Kevin Holt put through his own goal early in the second half Motherwell saw out the game calmly to earn their place in the quarter final.
