Dundee Football Club are excited to announce the signing of winger Dara Costelloe on a loan deal till the end of the season, subject to International clearance.
Costelloe joins us on loan from English Premier League Side Burnley FC. The 21-year-old spent the first half of this season on loan at fellow Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone. During this loan spell, he featured twelve times scoring once.
The Irishman started his career at Galway United before moving to Burnley. He made his debut for Burnley on 29th July 2022 against Huddersfield Town and has since played a further three times for The Claret’s first team. Costelloe was the top goal scorer for Burnley Under 23’s in 2022 scoring twelve times. He joined Bradford City for the rest of the 22/23 season and played eleven times. Dara has also played for the Republic of Ireland Under 21’s side and made his debut in June 2023 against Ukraine Under 21’s.
