  • Buckie Thistle joined the Highland League in Dundee’s Scottish Cup winning season of 1909/10
  • Buckie have won the Highland League on ten occasions
  • Buckie are the only Highland League side to have won in the National Stadium when they defeated Queens Park 2-1 in a Scottish Cup 4th round replay at Hampden in 1954
  • Buckie Thistle have played at their Victoria Park ground since 1919
  • Buckie’s kit is identical to Celtic’s green and white hoops and the Glasgow side came north in 1989 for a match to mark Thistle’s centenary
