Defender Christie Elliott spoke to the broadcast media ahead of the match.
He said, “We always going into the games knowing they are going to be a difficult games. We have to fight for every second ball. It’s important to try and get a good start. We will show how good we really are, we just need to knuckle down, try get that first goal and kick on from there.”
“It’s important when a result doesn’t go our way that we all stick together. We know how many games are ahead of ourselves and it is still in our hands to make sure we finish where we think we should finish. All eyes looking towards Friday night now, getting the three points and pushing on that way.”
