Dundee vs Airdrieonians
8/2/25
3pm kick-off
Scottish Gas Scottish Cup
The Scot Foam Stadium
We welcome Airdrieonians to the Scot Foam Stadium on Saturday for this Scottish Gas Scottish Cup fifth round match. Airdrie have already played two matches in this season’s competition. In their third round match they were in Dundee just round the corner at North End Park where they faced Midlands League side Dundee North End. An early Lewis McGregor goal after 6 minutes was enough to secure a 0-1 win for the away side. In the fourth round Airdrie were again away from home, but that wasn’t a problem as they defeated Scottish League One side Dumbarton 1-5. Airdrie currently sit in 10th position in the Scottish Championship but have won their last two matches against Dunfermline and Queen’s Park.
Despite not being in the same league, this is Airdrie second trip to the Scot Foam Stadium after being here back in August in the League Cup. It was a 6-1 victory for Dundee on that day.
