Dundee FC Mascot Experience: FAQ’s and Terms & Conditions

FAQ’s

Are tickets provided for the match?

Yes, each mascot will receive one complimentary child ticket and one complimentary adult ticket for the stand of their choice. Tickets can be selected at the checkout and collected from the ticket office within the club shop alongside the autograph book and kit prior to the match.

Please note that Mascot Kit, Autograph Book, Kiosk Voucher and Match Day Tickets will be available to collect from the Ticket Office 4 days prior to Match Day. Please ensure that you collect these prior to Match Day as they will not be available for collection on the day.

Can parents accompany the mascot during the experience?

No. Children should be dropped off at the Directors Box entrance within the Main Stand at Dens Park. After the walkout, the child will be brought back to the stand where parents/carers are seated. We require parents to be waiting at the bottom of the stand.

What happens after I leave?

Mascots are accompanied within the stadium by a member of our Community Trust staff. They will visit the home dressing room, meet the players and collect autographs. They will also enjoy some fun and games on the pitch before returning to the tunnel to prepare for the walkout.

Does the mascot need to wear football boots?

No, normal trainers are perfectly fine.

Can the mascot bring other items to be signed?

Due to time restrictions, no footballs or strips should be brought for autographs. Each mascot will be provided with an autograph book and match day programme to be signed.

Can mascots bring a mobile phone?

Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices are not permitted during any part of the Mascot Experience.

Exceptions will be considered where a device is required for medical reasons. Any such requirements must be notified to Dundee FC in advance.

Will photos be taken on the day?

Yes. The club photographer will take photos during the experience, which will be uploaded to the Friends of Dundee Facebook page.

Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a Dundee FC Mascot Experience package, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

All mascot participants must be capable of following instructions from Dundee FC staff and participating safely in the activities included within the experience. Where a child has additional support, accessibility or medical requirements, parents/guardians must inform Dundee FC at the time of booking so that requirements can be discussed and the suitability of the experience assessed.

Dundee FC reserves the right to refuse participation where it is considered unsafe or impractical for a child to take part and appropriate arrangements cannot be made.

2. Photography and Media

An official photographer will be present throughout the Mascot Experience and photographs may be shared on the Friends of Dundee Facebook page and other Dundee FC communication channels.

If you do not wish your child to be photographed, you must notify us at the point of purchase. While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate requests, notification after booking may limit our ability to do so.

Each mascot will be provided with an official match programme and autograph book for the collection of player signatures.

5. Clothing and Preparation

Mascots must arrive at Dens Park wearing their full Dundee FC kit, as changing facilities are not available as part of the experience.

Participants should also ensure they are appropriately dressed for prevailing weather conditions, particularly during colder or wet weather, as parts of the experience take place outdoors.

6. Match day Environment

Dens Park is a welcoming, family-friendly and inclusive environment. However, it remains a professional football stadium and matchday environment. Whilst Dundee FC expects high standards of behaviour from all participants, supporters and staff, occasional language or behaviour from individuals that is outside the Club’s control may be heard or witnessed.

7. Personal Belongings

Mascots are encouraged not to bring unnecessary personal belongings to the stadium. Dundee FC cannot accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal items.

8. Collection of Mascots

Following the completion of the Mascot Experience, accompanying adults are responsible for collecting their child from the front of the stand in which they are seated for the match.

Club representatives will provide further instructions on collection arrangements on the day where required.

9. Club Discretion
