Hearts | Preview

Dundee are back on the road this midweek when we take on Hearts at Tynecastle on Wednesday, kick off 7.45pm.

It is the second meeting of the season in the capital. Last time out in October, Jason Cummings found the net late on to earn Dundee a point.

Hearts come into the match sitting in 3rd but only have one win in their last four. Their last match saw them beaten 5-0 at Ibrox on Saturday.

Vaccine certificate checks

As per Scottish Government legislation, spot checks will be carried out at all entry points to the stadium and proof of COVID-19 vaccination must be shown unless one is exempt. Both digital and paper vaccine passports will be accepted. If you don’t have a vaccine passport, a negative lateral flow test can also be shown to gain entry. Please note that ALL hospitality guests will be asked to provide a negative lateral flow test or proof of COVID-19 vaccination, including the booster.

NEW

Updated legislation means supporters must have had the booster jag as well. Or, as above, a negative lateral flow test can be shown to gain entry.

The following groups of supporters are exempt:

participants in vaccine trials
under 18s
those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons

Under 18’s will be able to use their season ticket or match ticket as proof of age, as these have been checked at the point of purchase and are clearly marked with age categories.

Fans who are medically exempt or are participating in vaccine trials should carry proof of this. CLICK HERE to view Scottish Government information regarding what will be accepted as Proof of Exemption.

Lateral flow tests

Supporters can provide proof of a negative test form to access venues covered by the certification scheme.

In addition to paper copies of a vaccine certificate, proof of vaccine status on their mobile device or proof of exemption, supporters will be able to show on entry a record of a negative lateral flow or PCR test result taken within the preceding 24 hours.

This record may take the form of an email from NHS COVID-19 Notification or a text message from NHS result. Copy of the text message or email can be shown electronically or via printed paper copy. We will not accept either a physical test, or a photo of a test as a record of a negative test.

Hearts would like to once again emphasise that we are obliged to follow Scottish Government legislation and we thank supporters for their understanding and cooperation.
