Club historian Kenny Ross’ new book Dundee FC On This Day is having it’s official launch at Dundee Direct on Saturday and we have two copies to give away in a free to enter competition
The book will be launched at the club shop from 12-1pm with two Dundee legends and Hall of Fame inductees Bobby Wishart and Ally Donaldson in attendance to sign copies alongside Dundee striker Craig Wighton who’s iconic celebration from 2/5/16 is in the book.
Dundee FC On This Day is a journey, in diary form, through the history of the famous Dark Blues. All the major events, from the highs to the lows, are covered in detail to give the reader a feel for the ups and downs experienced by The Dee since its formation in 1893. With individual entries for every day, and multiple listings for more historic and busier days, the book includes all the club’s big matches from the joy of title wins and cup runs, to the pain of relegations and administrations.
Priced just £9.99, the book covers Dundee Football Club’s long and rich history, recording the five major trophy wins, the runs to two European semi-finals, the Dee-Fiant season, the promotions, significant events, sensational signings and memorable derby wins over Dundee United.
To help launch Kenny’s book we have two copies to give away and all you have to do is answer the following question:
“On which day did Dundee win the Scottish League championship in 1962?”
To enter email your answer to [email protected] by 5pm on Saturday. The winners will be picked at random and notified by email and the book posted to their address.
