Dundee are delighted to announce this evening that Willie Dyer has agreed a new one year deal with the club.
Willie played 26 times for the club in total last season. A natural left back, he was a valuable member of the team during the promotion run in, playing every minute from when Paul Hartley was appointed right through to the league being clinched on the final day.
Manager Paul Hartley told us, “I’m very pleased that Willie has agreed new terms with the club as he was one of the most consistent performers for me in the run up to winning the League and he never let us down during that period. He deserves his chance to go and prove himself in the top division and I know he can’t wait for the new season to start and he is keen to keep improving his game and that is the spirit we need here”.
