Dundee FC, Dundee FC Supporters’ Society and the Dundee Supporters Association were this week very proud to be part of arranging a much anticipated visit by the players to the Tayside Children’s ward at Ninewells hospital.
The players spent some time with the children chatting to them, hearing their stories and of course making sure that they all received a lovely gift from Santa.
The club would like to thank Charge Nurse Suzie Byer for her help in organising the visit and the wonderful staff who do a fantastic job. The players were humbled by the visit and were delighted to see so many smiles and happy faces amongst the children.
Kevin McBride said “As long as it cheered the kids up the boys were more than happy with that”, Jim McAlister said “It was the very least that we could do. It was just amazing to see their faces light up when they get their presents” while Ryan Conroy said, “It was great to brighten up the kids’ day”.
