This Saturday 12th August 2023, The Dundee Academy will host the inaugural annual Thomson Trophy event, where a range of teams will come to compete from across the country. The first event sees the Under 15’s of Dundee, Celtic, St. Johnstone and Queens Park take part in the 4-team tournament.
The annual event is another milestone to show appreciation for the support that Graham Thomson has provided to youth football spanning 6 decades.
We would like to thank main sponsor Crown Engineering along with others who have made this possible. Derek Gerrard of Circle Signs for donating the trophy that will be played for each year, the Dundee Supporters Association for the medals for each team, Spar Scotland for team refreshments, Alison McGuire of Dee Promotions for all the support to make this event possible, Leisure and Culture Dundee for their continued support at the Regional Performance Centre, and all the teams for making the commitment to be part of this exciting new competition that will grow over the coming years.
The event will take place at the Regional Performance Centre from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday 12th August 2023.
