Dundee convincingly won the first derby of the SPFL Development season at Tannadice this evening.
Ian Smith gave the young Dark Blues the lead on his debut before United were reduced to 10 men early in the match.
In the second half Dundee took complete control with Craig Wighton playing a major role in two quick goals. Mark Smith turning home his blocked shot before Nicky Low finished after Wighton’s pin point pass.
