On Saturday, we were delighted to welcome SSAFA The Armed Forces Charity to Dens, as we continue our partnership with them.
£5 from each sale of this season’s sold-out third kit shirt was pledged to SSAFA, and Managing Director John Nelms presented a cheque for £2,400 to SSAFA Dundee & Angus Chairman Ronnie Proctor.
We were also honoured to host 1962 league winner, hall of famer, and veteran Bobby Seith at Dens, and heartened to see and hear the warm reception he received from the Dundee support as he took part in the half-time draw at pitch-side.
We thank the Black Watch Association Pipe & Drum Band, standard bearers, that took part in Saturday’s celebrations.
