  • Rangers were the first British club to reach a European final losing the Cup Winners Cup Final over two legs to Fiorentina
  • Rangers don’t use the squad number 12 as they regard their fans as the 12th man
  • Dundee’s first ever visit to Ibrox ended in a 7-2 defeat to Rangers on the last game of their inaugural season on March 10th 1894
  • Rangers had a 100% record in season 1898/99 lifting the title winning all 18 games including a 2-1 win against Dundee at Carolina Port and a 7-0 win over The Dee at Ibrox
  • Dundee and Rangers both have their kits manufactured by Puma
  • The official club colours of Rangers are royal blue, white and red. However, for the majority of the first forty-eight years of Rangers existence the club played in a plain lighter blue home shirt
  • Rangers scroll crest first appeared on their shirts in 1968
  • Dundee have defeated Rangers 21 times at Ibrox including a 5-1 in their title winning 1961/62 season
  • Rangers first match was a 0-0 draw with Callander on Glasgow Green in May 1872
  • Dundee’s last league match at Ibrox was on December 11th 2004 which the hosts won 3-0 with two former Dees Nacho Novo and Bob Malcolm on the score sheet
