Dundee Football Club are excited to announce the loan signing of striker Seb Palmer-Houlden on a season-long loan deal from Bristol City, subject to international clearance.
The 20-year-old was scouted by Bristol City at a young age and has been part of their academy since the age of eight. In the 2022-23 season, he had loan spells at Chippenham Town in the National League South and then National League side Yeovil Town. Last season Seb spent the full season on loan at English League Two side Newport County where he played 42 times in all competitions scoring nine goals.
In February of this year, he signed a new three-year deal at Bristol City till the summer of 2027.
Speaking after joining The Dee Seb said, “It’s brilliant, I’ve seen the boys train today and the facilities and I just can’t wait to get started and hit the ground running. It’s a great move for me, the Scottish Premiership is a great league and when I heard that Dundee were interested I jumped at the opportunity. I developed a lot as a player last season at Newport County and I want to continue that this season at Dundee. I’m a high intensity runner, I like to get in behind the defence and score goals and I hope that I will be able to play my part this season for the team. I just really can’t wait to get started and get out on the pitch.”
Welcome to The Dee Seb!
