Tomorrow, Tuesday 1st August, sees the annual tournament for the Dundee FC Academy with three of our squads travelling down to Oakham, Leicestershire for the three-day event.

Our U13s, U14 and U15s will be competing against teams such as Nottingham Forest, West Ham Utd, Crewe Alexandria, Bristol City, Shrewsbury Town, Port Vale, and teams from Hong Kong, New York, and Ireland.

This will be the 3rd year in a row that the Dundee FC Academy has been in attendance. Our boys and seven staff will stay at the impressive Oakham school and live in their own boarding house within the campus. Many families will also make the trip down themselves to enjoy the local hospitality in the surrounding villages.

The tournament is hosted by specialist soccer, owned by Tom Statham who is an Academy coach at Manchester Utd. Tom runs this tournament each year brilliantly for all the teams and makes it a great experience.

Massive thanks to our parents and players once again who have helped fund the trip to make this a memorable experience for everyone and is a great start for each new season for the Academy squads.
