Dundee enter the League Cup this evening with a trip to take on Dunfermline at East End Park, kick off 7.45pm.

Paul Hartley and his squad have spoken of the importance of the cup competitions in the media this season and the Dundee boss is expected to send a strong side out against The Pars who have had an impressive start to the season.

Despite coming into the match on the back of a defeat to Peterhead, Dunfermline will be high on confidence have already racked up five wins this season. High scoring wins as well with a 4-1, 5-1, 6-1 and 7-1 already to their names.

It’s the first time Dundee have travelled to East End Park since the Dee-Fiant season when they came away with a hard fought 0-0 draw after playing just under half of the match with ten men.
