Dundee are back in action this weekend following an international break with a trip to Motherwell on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
Motherwell have lost the last three at home and by their own standards set in previous seasons would probably be looking to be sitting higher than the 11th position they currently occupy. Paul Hartley’s side sit three places above in 8th.
Dundee had three players involved in international action over the break with Kyle Letheren away with Wales, Phil Roberts came off the bench for Republic of Ireland under 21s and on loan at Arbroath, Dylan Carreiro was on the bench for Canada’s full team against Colombia.
The break has allowed some time for a few injured players to move closer to selection. Captain Kevin Thomson has been involved in training this week and will be included in the squad for Saturday. Willie Dyer remains on the sidelines but is making progress, while Simon Ferry with an illness will miss out again.
LAST TIME
Last time out at Fir Park, Nicky Riley opened the scoring for Barry Smith’s men before Dundee were pegged back right on half time in a 1-1 draw.
