Dundee are delighted to announce that Kevin McBride has signed a new deal with the club.
The deal will take central midfielder Kevin into his fourth season with the club.
He joined in February of 2012 and was part of the squad who finished 2nd which turned out to be enough for promotion to the SPL following Rangers being placed in the 3rd division.
In his second season with the club, he was a regular in the top flight. He scored his first goal for Dundee from the penalty spot in a 3-1 win over Hibernian at Dens.
He signed a new deal last summer and got Dundee underway with a last minute penalty against Alloa at Dens to give John Brown’s side their first points of the season.
Kevin netted twice more through the season, against Forfar in the Ramsdens Cup and a beauty in a 3-0 win over Dumbarton. He played 28 times in total as Dundee went on to win the SPFL Championship title and return to the top flight once again.
Despite only signing his new deal, Kevin returned to pre-season training along with his team mates last week and is currently in Hungary with Paul Hartley and the rest of the squad for a week long training camp.
