Kevin McBride has today left the club by mutual consent.
The midfielder has been with the club for three years and was part of the side which won the SPFL Championship title last season.
His time at Dens was split between the top flight and second tier of Scottish football having also been part of the Dundee team who were promoted due to Rangers removal from the top division.
He was a regular in the SPL then in the Championship last season.
Kevin got the ball rolling when his last minute penalty against Alloa at Dens gave Dundee the first victory of the league campaign last season.
His chances have been limited this season, he made seven appearances for the club.
