Livingston – 20/9/25 – Preview and Info

Dundee vs Livingston

20/9/25

3pm kick-off

William Hill Premiership

Dens Park

Livingston visit Dens Park for the first time since November 2023. After a season away from the top-flight, Livi are back in the Premiership. They returned to Scotland’s top-flight at the first time of asking after gaining promotion through the play-offs. Livi finished in second place in last season’s championship, where they accumulated 70 points, just three points behind league winners Falkirk. After not securing automatic promotion, Livingston ended up in the Premiership play-offs. In the semi-finals, they defeated Partick Thistle 4-0 on aggregate. They then faced Ross County in the final, after a 1-1 draw in Livingston, they then defeated County 2-4 in Dingwall, winning the tie 3-5 on aggregate. On their return to the Premiership, Davie Martindale’s side have picked up 5 points from their first five matches. They secured a win against Falkirk, two draws against Kilmarnock and Aberdeen, away from home, with two defeats coming against Celtic and Hearts. In the summer, Livingston had two former Dee’s join the club in Cammy Kerr and Mo Sylla. Cammy has missed the start of the season due to injury, while Mo played 90 minutes for them last Saturday against Aberdeen. The last time Dundee faced Livingston at Dens, Mo Sylla played 45 minutes for the Dark Blues.

Team News

Paul Digby will miss the match through injury. Cesar Garza will also miss the match due to being away with the Mexico Under 20’s squad ahead of their World Cup campaign. Yan Dhanda will miss this match and next week’s match due to suspension.
