A late winner from substitute Craig Beattie gave Dundee full points against Queen of the South at Dens, the striker firing home with just two minutes of regulation time remaining.
Derek Lyle had earlier pegged Dundee back after Peter MacDonald had put the Dee 1-0 up but with time running out Beattie struck to edge the Dark Blues closer to the top of the Championship.
