Dundee Football Club are excited to announce the loan signing of Ziyad Larkeche from Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan deal, subject to international clearance.
Left-back Larkeche moves north of the border after playing 22 times for the Championship side last season.
The 21-year-old came through the youth system at PSG before moving to Fulham in 2020. He then went out on loan to Barnsley where he got his first taste of regular football playing 23 times in all competitions for The Tykes. Last summer he joined Championship side Queen’s Park Rangers. Larkeche has also played six times for the French national side at Under 20’s level.
Speaking after signing for The Dee Ziyad said, “I’m really happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started and we have a big game this weekend. I had lots of discussions with the manager and he described the project at the club and his ambitions and I want to be part of that. I am 21 now, I want to play as much as I can and to show what I can do and try to do my best for this club. I am a player who likes to get forward, get assists and I have a lot of energy. I also spoke with Mo Sylla and Amadou Bakayoko and they told me that this is a great club, full of good people and the team is getting stronger.”
Ziyad Larkeche will wear the number 21 jersey for Dundee.
Welcome to The Dee Ziyad!
