Killie preview

Dundee travel to take on Kilmarnock at Rugby Park this Saturday with a view of making it three wins in a row following victories over Motherwell and Hamilton, kick off 3pm.

Paul Hartley’s men prepared for the trip to Ayrshire with a training session on Forfar’s Station Park which has a similar astroturf pitch to the one installed at Killie’s ground.

Willie Dyer and Kevin Thomson have both training for the full week and took part in the under 20s 3-2 win over Aberdeen at Dens last Monday. Kyle Letheren, Peter MacDonald, Simon Ferry and Luka Tankulic remain on the sidelines while Craig Wighton is also a doubt after picking up a knock in that 20s match.

Killie currently sit 4th in the Premiership table, four points ahead of Dundee in 7th, and only three points off the top.

The teams met on the opening day of the season at Dens and shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Gary Harkins scoring from the spot for Dundee before Craig Slater levelled with a free kick.
